Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre (Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre) is the patroness of Cuba, venerated since the early 1600s when her image was found floating in the Bay of Nipe by three fishermen caught in a storm — a story depicted in her traditional image atop the waves with their boat. Shown here in her classic blue, she is petitioned for protection, guidance, and blessings over family and home, and in Santería/Lucumí tradition she is syncretized with Ochún, orisha of love and sweet waters. This 12-inch cast resin statue is a detailed centerpiece for any home altar or shrine.
